TEACHING GRANTS
INNOVATIVE TEACHING GRANTS
The Salado Education Foundation recognizes the need for creativity and technical expertise in our fastpaced global society. Our vision is for innovation in education through the integration of 21st century skills into the teaching and learning process. The Innovative Teaching Grants are given in hope to contribute to a common course of action in addressing rising academic and student expectations, while considering the future demands needed in a more globally competitive workplace.
This is a competitive grant for Salado I.S.D. staff and administrators. Grant selection will be based upon innovation, creativity, collaborative efforts, and instructional or professional development. Grants are awarded in April each year.
TAYLOR WILLINGHAM MINI-GRANTS
Thanks to the generous gifts of so many of Taylor's friends and family to the Salado Education Foundation, $500 mini-grants are awarded to classrooms in the Salado Schools each month. These grants are awarded to individual teachers for the purchase of classroom supplies and curricula that go above and beyond what the regular budget will allow.
